Invitation

I filmed the dance to make a proffesional film of the dance.

I don't want to try and give the same feeling it will have when it is performed in the theatre because that's somthing film cannot do. There for I ussed the perks of film instead of trying to make it look like it's a live performance.

I drew the 4 steps of how to cut and paste. There will be a little surprise in the end result which has to do with the theme. The technique I'll use is linoprint

Prut#1 is a fact

                                                                                    

Today we have finished the first editon of Prut. 

This is a project where Wessel Vreeken and myself work on graphic hand made illustrations and images that will always be binded into a little booklet. We will try different techniques and binding methodes. Every month/month and a half there will be a new edition.

There are 20 booklets and they are for sale. If you are interested please send me an email to mara_korstanje@hotmail.com

Work in progress

Wessel and I have been silkscreening today. All the covers and illustrations are printed!!!
So now we have to cut them and bind them.

prut#1 cadans

The design until now.

Wessel Vreeken and I make a book of graphic work every month/month and a half.

This will be #1. The theme is Cadence. The work is very long but will be made as a leporello.The story is about a man that's walking through the rain but everything is going wrong. But he is working in a travelagency with sunny posters around him. We're not sure if we should draw the rain in there or not.

Dit f'lmpje zal de rode draad zijn door de film 'coincidence' Dit wordt steeds het beginpunt vanwaaruit een verhaal met toevalligheden wordt verteld. In het midden is een filmpje van mij wat net iets langzamer gaat zodat je er makkelijker naar kijkt.

Ik heb eerder al tekeningen gemaakt vanuit het gezichtspunt van een muis.
Ik heb een ruimte gecreëerd van alleen maar lijntjes. Een soort tussen muur of een muizenholletje etc.

Nu ben ik bezig deze tekeningen te animeren.

My teacher asked me to tell who i am by pictures.

I am a coincidence of my grandparents meeting and getting married so that my parents were born, who then also met by coincidence and tadaa there i was.
If they hadn't met I would not be here or I would be someone else.
If one link is missing the whole chain is gone.
