Prut#1 is a fact

Today we have finished the first editon of Prut.

This is a project where Wessel Vreeken and myself work on graphic hand made illustrations and images that will always be binded into a little booklet. We will try different techniques and binding methodes. Every month/month and a half there will be a new edition.

Work in progress

Wessel and I have been silkscreening today. All the covers and illustrations are printed!!!
So now we have to cut them and bind them.

Over mij

Who I am, Who I am not.
I am not trying to change the world with my work. Which means that you don't have to think about big things when you look at my work. Telling stories through images, making people happy with what they see, feel or touch that is what I love to do.
I am pleased that I won't leave the academy with a big stamp on my forehead saying: 'graphic designer' That's why I don't see myself working at a 'normal' design studio. I would much rather use the ideas and qualities that I have developed in a different way. For example work with people from different disciplines, Theatre, television etc.

There are so many different things that ask for different designers. It gives such a great feeling to work in a team full of different qualities and get to a great end result after months of first brainstorming, devolopping ideas and hard work. I would also love to work for or with children.
